About Us

With nearly 40 years combined in the animal industry, Falconwood boasts extensive experience in both animal keeper/trainer roles, and also zoo collection management and construction/business development roles. Working closely with and creating enclosures for a variety of species including passerines and reptiles, through to wolves and big cats, we have a wealth of hands-on experience, truly understanding the needs of most species.  We have experienced the rigorous application processes and inspections of zoo licensing, including BIAZA and EAZA, so we understand the stringent requirements you may have to adhere to when planning your enclosures.

 

Not only do we strive to provide well-built, beautiful, natural habitats for all species to thrive in, we also understand the importance of visitor engagement.  By increasing dwell-time through engaging signs and interactive areas, we aim to provide an educational, immersive and memorable experience for all your visitors.

 

At Falconwood, we don't only focus on what visitors see, we also strongly believe that all enclosures should be safely and easily serviceable and observed by the keeping staff.  Keeper-friendly features, such as modern life support and monitoring systems, separation areas, feeding trays/chutes, easily cleanable water bowls/pools and specific training/weighing areas are all taken into account when creating your enclosures.
